Many important people have graced the halls of Greendale Community College. Brilliant scientists, thoughtful philosophers, and excellent car salesmen have all found their voice here on campus. Looking through the history books, there is no Greendale alumnus more recognized than Puerto Rican-American character actor Luis Guzman. From what we know, he took a variety of English and social work classes between 1976 and 1977, and even dabbled in Greendale's performance arts program. Is Greendale the reason he's such an amazing actor? We really can't say, but it's a distinct possibility.

This week marked the unveiling of the Luis Guzman statue on campus. A perfect tribute to an amazing man. When walking by, remember that anything is possible and that Greendale Community College begets greatness.
You may remember Luis Guzman from such films as "Carlito's Way," "The Cowboy Way," "Boogie Nights," "Snake Eyes," "Traffic," and the 2003 FOX Sitcom, "Luis."
