Well, I'm eighteen and in my first year at Greendale CC, but I like to think of myself as an "old soul." That doesn't mean I'm not ready to learn all the world has to offer! I actually used to live right down the street from Greendale Community College. I guess you bloom where you are planted, huh? I used to walk by and think: "What's this? What's in there? Is that a factory? Is my dad in there? Is that an office?" It's true that you should never judge a book by its cover, because who knew it would one day become my temporary home! To be honest, I never pictured myself attending a community college, I believe I'm more "Ivy League" material, but Greendale is a good stepping stone. While I'm here I hope to expand my horizons and cultivate the garden within. I also hope they offer some kind of gardening or botany classes.
